LiftAid EBP Medical 60 inch by 2 inch gangband is designed to help in transferring and walking risk patients, and helps prevent injuries caregivers faced with performing this routine task. The strap is up to 60 inches and the band has an elastic loop around the excess strap length. Procedure to hold the gait band, should only be used as an aid for the transmission or foot of a patient. As a standard procedure with all devices in all facilities, please check the strap before each use. Only use the strap on a patient or resident if appropriate. If the patient or resident has had a recent surgery, please consult your doctor for permission before using this strap on the patient. This belt is never meant to be used as any type of restraint on a patient. Use the strap as the form of a seat belt either in a vehicle or in a chair.
